Do I need to buy hardware?

No. If your venue already has one of the WiFi systems we work with, CaptiFi uses the access points you've got. If it doesn't, we'll lend you our plug-and-play device on every plan. It stays ours, and you pay a refundable deposit for each one when you order it.

Which WiFi brands work with CaptiFi?

TP-Link Omada, Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, Aruba Instant On, MikroTik, Ruckus, Fortinet FortiGate/FortiAP, DrayTek and Cisco Catalyst. Our hardware page shows how each one is set up. Running something else, or no guest WiFi yet? The CaptiFi device plugs into your router with a cable and runs a separate guest network alongside your own.

Do I need a card to start the trial?

Yes, you'll add one on the next step (Apple Pay and Google Pay work too, if your phone or browser offers them). Starting the trial doesn't charge it, and your plan isn't billed until the 30-day trial ends. When you order our device, its refundable deposit is taken from the card on your account.

What happens when the trial ends?

It rolls straight into your plan, billed monthly or yearly (whichever you've chosen) to the card on your account. Changed your mind? Cancel from the Billing page on my.captifi.io before the trial ends, and your plan is never charged.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. You can change plan from the Billing page on my.captifi.io, during the trial or after it. If you move up, you'll have to wait 30 days before you can move back down.
