Stampede Review 2026: Pricing, Pros and Cons
If you run a pub or a restaurant group in the UK, you may well have come across Stampede. It runs much of a venue's guest-facing tech from one login, with WiFi as one module among several. This review is written from Stampede's own website, docs and knowledge base, read on 28 October 2026. CaptiFi sells guest WiFi marketing too, so we've kept to what Stampede says about itself and listed every page at the bottom.
Qu’est-ce que Stampede ?
Stampede AI Ltd (company SC503985) gives its address as 84 Commercial Street, Commercial Quay, Edinburgh EH6 6LX, its founding year as 2015 and its region as the United Kingdom. Its modules are ordering, bookings, Voice AI, WiFi, payments (PayOS), marketing, reviews and loyalty, and its pricing page says it's "Powering 2,500+ UK venues".
On data, Stampede's guest WiFi page calls the platform "UK-owned and GDPR-clean" and mentions "UK data residency".
How Stampede prices
Stampede doesn't publish a price. Its pricing page reads "The whole platform, one flat price per venue." and explains why there's no figure: "Because the right number depends on your estate: how many venues, which modules, what hardware. We would rather size it on one quick call than publish a figure". The call is "Thirty minutes", after which Stampede will "give you the price for your setup. No obligation either way."
The page does set out some terms. Bookings are "£0 per cover", "Onboarding and support are included", and the page's sample invoice lists ordering, bookings, marketing CRM, loyalty, reviews and WiFi, each marked "Included". Its email and SMS page adds "There's no per-email fee", and says SMS is "the one true per-message cost, on prepaid credits at a few pence a text."
Stampede's referral page says a referred business will "start a free trial of the full platform", getting the whole platform for a month.
Guest WiFi and SNAPguard
Stampede's WiFi runs through SNAPguard, which its SNAPguard docs call "the managed gateway that runs guest Wi-Fi" and its company docs describe as pre-configured MikroTik hardware. The guest WiFi page says "For most venues the Snapguard Solution plugs into your existing router or controller", and the SNAPguard docs say it "can adopt common controllers such as UniFi, Omada and Ruckus" and "is included by default and is not an optional add-on." Hardware is one of the things the pricing page says sets your price. The knowledge base has vendor playbooks for UniFi, DrayTek, Fortinet, Meraki, Omada, Aruba, Ruckus, Mist, Netgear, Zyxel, MikroTik and Cisco/HP.
Marketing, reviews, loyalty and bookings
- Its workflows page says workflows are "part of your Stampede plan at one flat price per venue", and its guide to how workflows work says "Sending an SMS and opening an inbox thread are rolling out."
- Reviews are managed across Google, Tripadvisor and Facebook, with "Automated post-visit review requests across Google and Facebook".
- Loyalty cards "live in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, with no app to download."
- Events can be ticketed, with guests paying "up front through your own booking page."
- Integrations listed in its product summary are Square (POS and payments, two-way), Stripe, Google Reserve and Google Business Profile, and "Square spend and line-item data flows onto unified Stampede guest profiles".
Pros and cons
These come from Stampede's own pages. Whether a point helps depends on what your venue needs.
In its favour
- One platform for ordering, bookings, CRM, loyalty, reviews and WiFi, with each shown as included on its sample invoice.
- No per-cover booking fee and no per-email fee.
- SNAPguard can adopt UniFi, Omada and Ruckus controllers, and there are playbooks for twelve vendor families.
- Square spend and line items land on the guest profile.
- Wallet loyalty cards with no app, ticketed events, and UK data residency.
Things to weigh
- There's no published price. You get the figure on a call, and it depends on your venues, modules and hardware.
- Texts are paid for with prepaid credits, "a few pence a text".
- Sending an SMS and opening an inbox thread from a workflow are still rolling out.
