Locations, as Spotipo's homepage puts it

Spotipo puts its prices on its website, which makes it one of the easier guest WiFi tools to compare. This review is written from Spotipo's own site and help centre, read on 28 October 2026. CaptiFi sells guest WiFi too, so we've stuck to what Spotipo says about itself and linked every page we used at the bottom.

¿Qué es Spotipo?

Spotipo is a captive portal you run from the cloud. A guest connects to the venue's WiFi, sees a branded sign-in page, logs in and gets online, and the venue keeps the contact. The footer reads "© Copyright 2017-2026 Nibblecomm, Inc", the homepage says "Data is hosted on Google Cloud in the EU", and Spotipo says it "serves guest WiFi portals to over 3,000 locations worldwide".

It's cloud only. Spotipo's FAQ says so plainly: "Spotipo is cloud-based only. We do not offer self-hosted versions."

Spotipo pricing

Prices are per location, in US dollars, as the pricing page showed them on 28 October 2026:

PlanMensualFacturado anualmenteGuests and extras
Starter$59 a month$49 a month ($590 a year)Up to 2,000 unique guests a month
Pro$79 a month$66 a month ($790 a year)Up to 5,000 unique guests a month; paid WiFi through Stripe; Azure AD and sponsored login
EnterprisePrecios personalizadosBy arrangement

Yearly billing is marked "+2 Free Months". The trial lasts 14 days with full access and no credit card needed, and includes 150 guest device logins and up to 5 test sites. If you sell WiFi through Stripe on Pro, Spotipo notes that "A 5% Spotipo fee applies on monthly revenue above $5,000 per location." White-label admin branding is listed as an additional cost.

Logins, paid WiFi and integrations

Guests can sign in by "Email, phone, social, voucher, terms-only, password". Pro adds selling timed WiFi access through Stripe and logins such as Azure AD and sponsored login.

For marketing, the pricing page lists CRM sync with "Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Zapier and more." The help centre's CRM collection goes further: Brevo, Dotmailer, Teams, me&u, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Mailjet, Mailrelay, Airship, HubSpot, Zapier, iContact, Campaign Monitor, Zonal PMS and webhooks. Spotipo's own page comparing itself with Purple describes its product as "Built in: capture, campaigns, vouchers, paid WiFi".

Hardware

Spotipo doesn't ask you to change hardware: its pricing page says "Works with your existing router. No hardware changes." The homepage names UniFi, MikroTik, TP-Link and Cisco "and 30+ other enterprise router brands". Its integrations page lists setups for UniFi, MikroTik, TP-Link Omada, Meraki and Meraki Go, Aruba and Aruba Instant On, Ruckus (Unleashed, Cloud, ZoneDirector and SmartZone), DrayTek, Teltonika, Ruijie, Cisco WLC, Cambium, Zyxel Nebula and IgniteNet, and its help centre adds Fortinet through RADIUS.

MSPs and white label

For resellers, Spotipo's white-label page lists "white-label from $50 per month with an annual commitment" and says "White-labeling covers splash pages, the admin login page, the dashboard, and invoices." It describes "One dashboard for you, isolated access for every client", with sub-accounts so a client's staff can issue vouchers without raising a ticket with you.

Pros and cons

All of these come from Spotipo's own pages. Which column a point lands in depends on your venue.

In its favour

  • Published prices per location, from $49 a month billed annually.
  • A 14-day trial with no credit card, 150 guest logins and up to 5 test sites.
  • Runs on the router you have, with setups listed for UniFi, MikroTik, Omada, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, DrayTek, Teltonika and more.
  • Paid WiFi through Stripe on Pro, plus voucher logins.
  • A white-label programme from $50 a month that covers the dashboard, the admin login page and invoices.

Things to weigh

  • Each plan has a guest cap: 2,000 unique guests a month on Starter and 5,000 on Pro.
  • Paid WiFi carries a 5% Spotipo fee on monthly revenue above $5,000 per location.
  • White-label admin branding costs extra, and the white-label programme needs an annual commitment.
  • It's cloud only, with no self-hosted version.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars.

Who Spotipo suits

Spotipo fits a venue or reseller that already has a router or controller on its list and wants the price before the conversation. Paid WiFi through Stripe makes it worth a look for places that charge for access. Busier sites should check the caps against their own numbers first, since Starter covers up to 2,000 unique guests a month.

Dónde difiere CaptiFi

Like Spotipo, CaptiFi publishes its plan prices, in six currencies on the pricing page (Enterprise is custom), with Essentials at $69/mo. The allowances work differently: CaptiFi counts new guests a month by plan (500 new guests a month on Lite, 1,000 on Essentials, 5,000 on Growth and 15,000 on Pro). Paid WiFi and WiFi vouchers are on Essentials.

Email campaigns go out from CaptiFi itself (1,000 emails a month on Essentials, 2,000 on Growth and 5,000 on Pro), and review requests start on Essentials, sending happy guests on to Google, Tripadvisor, Yelp, Facebook, Trustpilot and more. CaptiFi has setup guides for 9 vendor ecosystems, and the CaptiFi device is included on every plan against a refundable deposit of $99. The trial runs for 30 days on every plan, and you add a card to start. See CaptiFi vs Spotipo for the side-by-side, or Spotipo alternatives for the wider field.
