If you're pricing guest WiFi for a pub, a play centre or a small hotel, Fydelia is easy to put on a shortlist because its prices are on its website. This review is written from Fydelia's own pages, read on 27 October 2026. CaptiFi sells guest WiFi too, so we've kept to what Fydelia publishes and linked every page at the bottom.

What is Fydelia?

Fydelia's FAQ describes it as "a cloud-based portal server" that "works with your existing access points and router. No additional boxes, no on-site installations." A guest connects, sees a branded page before getting online, and the venue builds its guest list from those sign-ins. Its features page says "Every feature is included in every plan."

Fydelia pricing

Fydelia publishes its prices per venue, by type of venue, in pounds:

  • Coffee shops, bars, pubs and restaurants: from £25/month per venue.
  • Kids' play, event spaces and nightclubs: from £45/month per venue.
  • Hotels: from £65/month per venue.

Its FAQ gives rough equivalents of about $35 or €30, $55 or €50, and $80 or €75, and says "Discounts are available based on billing cycle and number of venues." The pricing page adds "Per-venue billing, no metered usage" and "Every plan comes with the full suite. No feature gates, no premium add-ons."

On commitment, the self-service level lists "Monthly rolling billing", and Fydelia's Pay & Play terms say "You're only committed for your current billing cycle, typically a 3-month rolling period." The trial is "a completely free 14-day trial with access to every single feature. No credit card required".

Fydelia also runs a switching offer for venues still under contract elsewhere: "Fydelia is free until your current contract ends", for "the entire remainder of your existing contract". Terms and conditions apply, and Fydelia asks you to contact it for the details.

What every plan includes

  • Email capture to build "a large, targeted, and verified email list from your guest WiFi visitors for future campaigns", and automated birthday campaigns.
  • Review prompts: "Google & Tripadvisor: Automatically prompt guests to leave reviews on your preferred platform."
  • Games at sign-in: scratch cards, spin the wheel, a slot machine, Plinko prize drops, a brand puzzle, Bat & Ball, chess, checkers, Stack4 and Reversi. Its FAQ says voucher codes "sync to your POS, and anti-fraud limits prevent abuse."
  • A "Loyalty Engine", which Fydelia describes as "the built-in advertising suite, designed for targeted marketing".
  • "Over 100 no-code integrations", including Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, Stripe, Shopify, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Google Analytics, Tripadvisor and Zapier. New opt-ins can "trigger automated welcome sequences" in email tools such as Mailchimp and Klaviyo, and Twilio is listed under email and SMS marketing.

Matériel

Fydelia's hardware page says "You do not need additional hardware specifically for Fydelia", and lists "20+ Vendors supported" and "40+ Device models". Check that your access points are on its list before you start the trial.

Pros and cons

Everything here is from Fydelia's own pages. Whether a point helps depends on your venue.

In its favour

  • Published per-venue prices, from £25 a month, with every feature on every plan.
  • A 14-day trial with every feature and no credit card.
  • Runs on your existing access points and router, across 20+ vendors and 40+ device models.
  • Games, a loyalty engine, birthday campaigns and Google and Tripadvisor review prompts, all on every plan.
  • Over 100 no-code integrations, booking systems such as SevenRooms and OpenTable among them.

Things to weigh

  • The price depends on your type of venue, so a mixed group pays different rates per site.
  • Under Pay & Play you're committed for the current billing cycle, typically three months.
  • Prices are listed in pounds, with the dollar and euro figures given as rough equivalents.

Who Fydelia suits

Fydelia fits a venue that wants every feature at one per-venue price and already has access points from one of its supported vendors. Entertainment venues, kids' play centres and nightclubs have their own price band, and every plan includes the games at sign-in.

Où CaptiFi diffère

CaptiFi prices by plan, whatever the type of venue, and publishes those plan prices in six currencies on the pricing page (Enterprise is custom), with Essentials at $69/mo. Each plan has a monthly allowance of new guests (500 new guests a month on Lite, 1,000 on Essentials, 5,000 on Growth and 15,000 on Pro), and each adds more: email campaigns, review requests and connections to review platforms such as Google, Tripadvisor and Yelp from Essentials, then games, rewards, table bookings and the marketing and till integrations from Growth, and workflows on Pro.

Email campaigns go out from CaptiFi itself (1,000 emails a month on Essentials, 2,000 on Growth and 5,000 on Pro). Review requests send happy guests on to Google, Tripadvisor, Yelp, Facebook, Trustpilot and more. CaptiFi has setup guides for 9 vendor ecosystems, and the CaptiFi device is included on every plan against a refundable deposit of $99. Every plan starts with a 30-day trial, and you add a card to start. See CaptiFi vs Fydelia or the Fydelia alternatives page for the side-by-side.
