The Problem

A prize game that shows the winning code on the screen lets one screenshot be passed round a whole table. Without a limit on plays and prizes, a game can give away more than the venue meant to. Prize promotions also follow different rules in different places, and some prizes are not allowed at all in some of them, such as alcohol prizes in Scotland.

The game appears once the guest is online

When a game is live at a venue, its card shows on the After connecting screen of the WiFi. Each game also has a link you can share, so guests can play it from wherever you post it.

In the dashboard, choose a spin-the-wheel game or a scratch card and give it a name. Games are part of Rewards, on the Growth plan and above.

Add prizes from Rewards

Pick the prizes from your Rewards offers and set how many of each the game can give out.

Set the limits

Set how often each guest can play.

Check the terms and the region

CaptiFi writes the terms for the game and checks the region of each venue. A prize the law clearly rules out where a venue is, such as an alcohol prize in Scotland, is blocked.

Guests play

Guest games questions answered

Which CaptiFi plans include games?

Games are included on the Growth plan and above. Every prize is one of your Rewards offers, so games run from the same Rewards programme as your loyalty scheme. Prize draws, visit challenges, the stamp card, badges and guest referrals are on the same plans.

Where do guests play?

On the After connecting screen of your guest WiFi, once they have signed in, and on a link you can share wherever you like.

Does the guest see a prize code on screen?

No. The game shows the guest what they won, and the prize goes to their email or phone. Staff redeem it at the till like any other reward, so a screenshot of the game screen has nothing on it that anyone can redeem.

Can a guest keep playing until they win?
