Guest WiFi marketing and data capture
Guest WiFi marketing starts at the sign-in page. Guests who join your WiFi sign in on your own branded page with an email address or phone number, their marketing consent is recorded, and you capture customer data from guest WiFi without your staff having to do a thing. That WiFi data capture feeds the welcome emails, review requests and win-back offers that follow. CaptiFi runs on TP-Link Omada, UniFi, Meraki and Aruba (or on our plug-and-play device, if you'd rather leave the network alone).
What is guest WiFi?
Guest WiFi is a public, internet-only WiFi network a business offers to customers, separate from its private back-office network, typically secured by a captive portal that requires sign-in.
CaptiFi turns ordinary guest WiFi into a customer data and marketing channel: each branded login captures the guest's contact details, and guests who say yes to marketing join a list you can market to. Guests get onto that list through our captive portal software, which puts your branded page on the WiFi, and the emails they agree to come from our WiFi marketing software. Weighing up social WiFi? No new hardware needed! CaptiFi works with most existing access points, including UniFi. If you don't have compatible hardware, we'll send you a plug-and-play device, included with your plan.
It can be. CaptiFi asks for marketing consent separately from getting online and records each guest's answer, every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and Delete (GDPR) and Anonymise (GDPR) handle erasure requests. Your venue stays the data controller.

You can cancel anytime with no long-term contracts. When you cancel, you return the hardware at your own cost, and your A$129 deposit is refunded once it reaches us in working condition.
Your plan covers the venue, not a number of access points. Email hello@captifi.io to add more CaptiFi devices at the same venue, or use your existing UniFi access points.
New guests can't sign in until your allowance resets on your next billing day. Guests you've already captured keep getting online, and we email you at 75%, 90% and 100% of the allowance. If you're often near the limit, moving up a plan adds headroom straight away.
