Overview

What does the Incentivio integration do?

The Incentivio integration is a native CaptiFi connector, shipped in August 2026. Incentivio is the restaurant platform behind branded ordering apps, loyalty programmes and guest engagement for hundreds of restaurant brands, and its guest database is the single source of truth for who a brand's guests actually are. CaptiFi plugs your venue WiFi into that picture: every guest who signs in on your splash page and opts in to marketing is sent into your Incentivio guest database, carrying their email, name and phone number when your splash form collects it, tagged as a CaptiFi WiFi sign-up.

Setup uses credentials issued by Incentivio. Ask your Incentivio account manager to enable guest data access for your brand (Incentivio's guest data platform is called Incentivio Connect) and they will issue a Client ID and Client Secret for server-to-server access. Paste both into the CaptiFi Integrations page for the venue, add an optional Location ID if your brand runs multiple locations, and switch the integration on. If you are not sure who to ask, CaptiFi support can liaise with Incentivio for you. The sync runs server-side through a queued job, so guests appear in Incentivio within minutes of sign-in with no browser plumbing involved.

Repeat visits are handled cleanly. Guests upsert by email, so a regular who signs in every week updates the same Incentivio record rather than piling up duplicates. Only guests who opt in to marketing are ever sent, so the guest data Incentivio holds stays permission-based from the start. The integration is available on the Growth plan and above, and the 30-day free trial runs at Growth level.

What you get

Why connect Incentivio to CaptiFi

WiFi guests join your real guest database

Incentivio already holds your ordering and loyalty guests. With CaptiFi connected, walk-in WiFi guests land in the same database, so the brand finally sees the visitors who never ordered through the app.

Guests appear within minutes

Every opted-in WiFi guest is sent to Incentivio within minutes of signing in, carrying email, name and phone where captured, with no exports, no imports and no Zapier tasks.

Feeds loyalty, campaigns and guest journeys

Once a WiFi guest is in Incentivio, the platform's loyalty, offers and guest journey tooling can pick them up like any other guest, so a WiFi sign-in can start the same lifecycle as an app download.

Clean data, no duplicates

Guests upsert by email, so a repeat visitor updates the same Incentivio record every time rather than creating a new one, keeping guest counts honest across WiFi, ordering and loyalty.

What data flows to Incentivio

Guest email address captured at WiFi sign-in
Guest first and last name
Guest phone number, when your splash form collects it
Marketing opt-in consent
Source tag identifying the guest as a CaptiFi WiFi sign-up
Incentivio Location ID, when configured for multi-location brands
How it works

Up and running in minutes

1

Ask Incentivio for guest data access

Contact your Incentivio account manager and ask them to enable guest data access (Incentivio Connect) for your brand. They will issue a Client ID and a Client Secret for server-to-server access. CaptiFi support can make this request with Incentivio on your behalf.

2

Paste the credentials into CaptiFi

On the Integrations page in your CaptiFi dashboard, open the Incentivio card, choose the venue, and paste the Client ID and Client Secret. Multi-location brands can add a Location ID so WiFi guests are attributed to the right restaurant.

3

Test and switch on

Click Test to confirm the credentials authenticate against Incentivio, then switch the integration on. From that moment opted-in guests flow automatically.

4

Watch WiFi guests join your guest database

Opted-in WiFi guests are sent into Incentivio within minutes of signing in, complete with email, name and any phone number your splash form collects, tagged as CaptiFi WiFi sign-ups.

5

Let Incentivio take it from there

Guests upsert by email, so records stay clean across repeat visits, and your Incentivio loyalty, offers and guest journey tooling can engage WiFi guests like any other guest.

In the real world

How venues use Incentivio with CaptiFi

Cafe

A cafe on Incentivio captures every walk-in who joins the WiFi, so guests who never downloaded the app still end up in the brand's guest database, ready for the loyalty nudge that turns them into app users.

Restaurant

A multi-location restaurant group sets a Location ID per venue, so WiFi sign-ups are attributed to the right restaurant in Incentivio and each location's guest journey reporting reflects its real footfall.

Quick service

A quick-service brand runs Incentivio offers to re-engage lapsed guests; WiFi sign-ins keep those guest records fresh with recent visits, so win-back campaigns stop targeting people who were in the queue last week.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Is the Incentivio integration native or does it use Zapier?
It is native. CaptiFi talks to Incentivio directly, server-side, using credentials issued by Incentivio for your brand. There is no Zapier account, no Zaps and no task limits involved. You paste the Client ID and Client Secret into the CaptiFi Integrations page and the sync runs between the two platforms automatically.
Where do I get the Client ID and Client Secret?
From Incentivio. Ask your Incentivio account manager to enable guest data access for your brand (their guest data platform is called Incentivio Connect) and they will issue the credentials for server-to-server access. If you are not sure who to contact, CaptiFi support can liaise with Incentivio for you and complete the connection.
What does CaptiFi send to Incentivio?
Each opted-in guest is sent with their email address, first and last name, their phone number when your splash form collects it, their marketing opt-in, and a source tag identifying them as a CaptiFi WiFi sign-up. If you configure a Location ID, the guest is attributed to that Incentivio location. Guests who decline the marketing opt-in are never sent.
How is guest consent handled?
Only guests who opt in to marketing on the splash page are ever sent to Incentivio, and their opt-in is recorded on the guest record. Guests who connect to the WiFi but decline marketing never leave CaptiFi, which keeps your Incentivio guest database permission-based and your campaigns aligned with GDPR and PECR.
We run multiple locations. Can WiFi guests be attributed to the right one?
Yes. Each CaptiFi venue can carry its own optional Incentivio Location ID, so a brand with several restaurants can point every venue's WiFi at the same Incentivio account while keeping guests attributed to the location they actually visited. Leave the Location ID blank for brand-wide sync.
Which CaptiFi plans include the Incentivio integration?
The Incentivio integration is available on the Growth plan and above, with no per-integration add-on fees. The 30-day free trial runs at Growth level, so you can connect Incentivio and watch real guests sync during the trial before you pay anything.
