Yotpo + CaptiFi

Pull your Yotpo reviews into the Review Inbox with AI-drafted replies, using your Yotpo app key and API secret. Uses your existing subscription. Hardware included, 30-day trial.

Overview

What does the Yotpo integration do?

The Yotpo integration pulls your latest Yotpo reviews into the Review Inbox using the app key and API secret from your existing Yotpo subscription, with an AI-drafted reply for each. Yotpo has no public page where a guest can write a review unprompted, so there is no review link for WiFi guests and the integration is Review Inbox only. For shops, cafes and gyms that collect reviews with Yotpo. Growth plan and above.

Yotpo collects reviews for the businesses that subscribe to it. The Yotpo integration brings those reviews into the CaptiFi Review Inbox so they sit alongside Google, Tripadvisor and the rest, each with the reviewer's name, score, title, text and date, and an AI-drafted reply ready to copy and post from your Yotpo account.

The connection is the app key and API secret from your Yotpo account, entered once on the Yotpo card. The secret is stored encrypted and write-only, and CaptiFi uses the pair to sign in to Yotpo when it syncs, so there is no token for you to copy or renew. Press Test connection and CaptiFi signs in once to confirm the pair; save, and the first sync runs straight away.

Yotpo has no public page where a guest can write a review unprompted, so Yotpo is not a destination for the review requests CaptiFi sends and the integration is Review Inbox only. Your review requests keep sending happy guests to Google, Tripadvisor or whichever platforms you have set up, and Yotpo keeps collecting reviews the way it does now. CaptiFi reads them through the Yotpo subscription you already hold.

How it works

Up and running in minutes

1

Copy your app key and API secret

Both come from your Yotpo account. The app key identifies your store; the secret is confidential, so treat it like a password.

2

Enter them in CaptiFi

Open the Yotpo card on the Integrations page of my.captifi.io and enter the app key and secret.

3

Test and save

Press Test connection, which signs in to Yotpo with the pair, then save. The first sync runs straight away and your reviews appear in the Review Inbox.

4

Reply from the Review Inbox

New reviews sync daily, or on demand with Sync now. Generate an AI reply draft, copy it, post it from your Yotpo account via the link, then mark the review replied.

In the real world

How venues use Yotpo with CaptiFi

Retail

A shop that collects Yotpo reviews from its web orders reads them in the same inbox as the Google reviews its walk-in WiFi guests leave, and replies to both in one sitting.

Cafe

A cafe that sells its coffee beans online through a Yotpo-reviewed store sees what online customers said about the roast next to what visitors said about the room.

Gym

A gym that sells memberships and kit online pulls its Yotpo reviews into CaptiFi, where the front desk drafts replies with AI and posts them from Yotpo in a couple of minutes.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What do I need from Yotpo?
The app key and API secret from your Yotpo account. CaptiFi stores the secret encrypted and write-only, so after saving the dashboard shows only that a secret is set.
Can WiFi guests be sent to Yotpo to leave a review?
No. Yotpo has no public page where a guest can write a review unprompted, so there is no review link to send guests to. The integration is Review Inbox only; your review requests keep sending happy guests to the other platforms you have set up.
Can I reply from CaptiFi?
CaptiFi drafts the reply with AI and links to your Yotpo account, where you paste and post it yourself. Replies are never posted automatically.
Does this cost extra?
Not from CaptiFi. The integration reads reviews through the Yotpo subscription you already hold, and it is included on the Growth plan and above.
What happens if I disconnect?
Disconnecting removes your Yotpo app key and secret from CaptiFi and clears the Yotpo reviews from the Review Inbox. Nothing changes in your Yotpo account.
Which plan do I need?
Yotpo is available on the Growth plan and above, the same as the Google, Tripadvisor and Yelp review prompts.
